Too Little Time on My Hands

The life and times of a comic reader/writer are bittersweet. Free books don't always come 'free'...

For years now, I have struggled with breaking into the comic book world. I have written proposals for Mecca, Moonstone, Penguin Comics, movie companies, book companies, all to no avail except that it provided me with excellent experience and made me some good friends.

I have published one book. With another on the way in August, and another in 2007 on Joe Sinnott. Is that all? I also review comics for Comic Buyers Guide, and write for True West (Check out their June, September and October issues) and hopefully Autograph Collector.

But, I return to comics. I love the format and the sheer power of the printed page. What is your story?
